Privacy Policy

Introduction

  1. Purpose: This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of your personal information when interacting with our websites, software, and associated services.

  2. Consent: By using our websites or installing and using our software, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using our websites and software.

Collection of Personal Information

  1. Circumstances of Collection: We collect personal information when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to newsletters, or fill out forms.

  2. Types of Information Collected: Includes but is not limited to your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and payment details.

  3. Technical and Usage Information: We collect technical data such as browser types, device details, and general usage information to enhance service quality. In some cases, technical identifiers such as IP addresses may be treated as personal data under certain privacy laws. When you enable Web Indexing in a Bright-Enabled Application, Bright Data may also collect your IP address and related technical information as described in the Bright Data Web Indexing (Bright SDK) section below.

Use and Processing of Personal Information

  1. Order Processing: Information is used to process transactions, communicate about orders, and provide customer support.

  2. Marketing Communications: With your consent, we may send promotional materials. You can opt-out anytime.

  3. Third-Party Service Providers: Trusted third parties assist us with services such as shipping, payment processing, analytics, and technical integrations. These partners are permitted to use your personal data only as necessary to provide services to us, except for specific partners such as Bright Data Ltd. (when you enable Web Indexing in a Bright-Enabled Application), which processes certain technical information (including your IP address) under its own Privacy Policy and EULA as an independent controller. See the Bright Data Web Indexing (Bright SDK) section for more details.

  4. Legal Compliance: Information may be disclosed if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Bright Data Web Indexing (Bright SDK)

  1. Some Fry Networks desktop or Windows applications (the “Bright-Enabled Applications”) include the optional Bright Data SDK. If you choose to enable Web Indexing in those applications, your device may become part of Bright Data’s proxy network. This allows Bright Data Ltd. (“Bright Data”) to route certain network requests through your device and to process related technical information such as your IP address, approximate location, device characteristics, and domain-level browsing requests, as described in Bright Data’s own policies.

  2. When Web Indexing is enabled, Bright Data acts as an independent controller of the data it processes via the Bright SDK. Bright Data’s data practices are explained in the Bright SDK Privacy Policy (https://bright-sdk.com/privacy-policy) and the Bright SDK End-User License Agreement (https://bright-sdk.com/eula). By enabling Web Indexing in a Bright-Enabled Application, you agree to Bright Data’s terms and privacy practices in addition to this Privacy Policy.

  3. Fry Networks does not control how Bright Data uses information it collects via the Bright SDK and does not access the contents of the web requests processed by Bright Data. We encourage you to review Bright Data’s documentation and user FAQ for more detail (https://bright-sdk.com/users)

  4. You can disable Web Indexing at any time from within a Bright-Enabled Application by going to Live Data → Web Indexing and turning the Web Indexing option off. When you turn Web Indexing off, the Bright SDK will no longer use your device as part of Bright Data’s network.

If you wish to exercise rights relating to data processed by Bright Data via the Bright SDK (for example, your IP address used for Web Indexing), please refer to the contact details and instructions in the Bright SDK Privacy Policy (https://bright-sdk.com/privacy-policy), as Bright Data acts as the controller for that data.

  2. GDPR Compliance: For EU users, we adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards for the personal data we control and process. Where third parties such as Bright Data act as independent controllers (for example, when you enable Web Indexing in a Bright-Enabled Application), their GDPR responsibilities and contact details are set out in their own privacy notices..
