FAQ
DePIN stands for Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network. It's a model where individuals deploy physical hardware—like sensors, hotspots, or compute nodes—to build decentralized infrastructure and earn cryptocurrency rewards. Fry Networks is one of the most diverse DePIN projects, spanning bandwidth sharing, satellite tracking, noise monitoring, weather data, air quality, water quality, radiation detection, AI computing, and energy monitoring across a single interconnected ecosystem.
Once you place your order, the shipping date will be shown on the purchase page. Most devices ship within a month. Got questions? Our support team is here to help!
You earn passive income with Fry Networks by deploying one or more IoT devices that contribute real-world data to decentralized networks. Once registered on the Fry Dashboard, your device earns crypto rewards automatically. You can buy a pre-configured Fry device or use the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program with a one-time $105 license. Most devices are plug-and-play with minimal setup.
Fry Networks offers 11 types of DePIN devices: AI Edge Agents, Bandwidth Gateways, Satellite Sensors (indoor/outdoor), Noise Sensors (indoor/outdoor), Weather Stations, AI Cameras, Air Quality Sensors, Water Quality Sensors, Energy Gateways, Radiation Sensors, and Infrastructure Nodes. All devices are designed with sustainability in mind, often using recycled or repurposed hardware.

Fry Networks stands out for three reasons: (1) It operates across 11 different sensor and device types in a single ecosystem—most DePIN projects focus on just one. (2) It offers a BYOD program letting you connect your own compatible hardware for a one-time $105 license. (3) It prioritizes sustainability by repurposing consumer electronics and minimizing e-waste, making it one of the greenest DePIN projects.
Fry Networks operates a live, functioning network with 9,100+ devices online and has distributed over 100,000 rewards. The FRY token trades on multiple exchanges including Tinyman, NonKYC, BitStorage, Nestex, and Exbitron. As with any crypto project, potential participants should do their own research. Fry Networks publishes a whitepaper, roadmap, and regular blog updates for transparency.

No, we never sell data from WeatherXM stations. By onboarding your station to our ecosystem, you contribute valuable data to our decentralized network, helping to create a stronger, more scalable data-sharing community.
Some of our apps include Bright SDK, a tool from Bright Data that lets us monetize a small amount of idle network resources instead of relying only on ads or paid upgrades. In return, we can keep more features free or offer extra perks to users.
Bright SDK anonymously indexes public web data from public websites (like e-commerce, travel, and consumer brand sites). It uses your internet connection to download a small number of public web pages in the background, without tracking you or showing ads.
Bright SDK does not collect your name, email, browsing history, app usage, cookies, or device identifiers. The only personal data it needs is your IP address, mainly to log your consent and comply with privacy laws. Users are otherwise anonymous and indistinguishable.
No. Bright SDK does not access your personal files, messages, logins, or passwords. It only fetches publicly available web pages that anyone could view in a browser without logging in.
Bright SDK is designed to use only idle device and network resources and to run in a way that should not materially impact your device performance or app experience. It does not inject ads or pop-ups.
According to Bright Data, Bright SDK is built to comply with major privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and it does not use tracking, cookies, or advertising IDs
Yes. Participation is always optional. When one of our apps uses Bright SDK, you’ll see a clear offer/consent screen explaining what it does and what you get in return. You can decline and keep using the app’s core features as usual.
If you previously agreed and want to opt out, you can usually disable Bright SDK from that app’s settings screen or by following the link provided on the consent/offer screen. Once disabled, Bright SDK will stop using your connection for web indexing.
